What is Cafe of Life Chiropractic?
A Café of Life® is a place that thinks radically different about health. It is about people, life and living. Where health, life and human potential are honored and focused upon at all times.
There are many Cafe of Life's in the USA and internationally: http://cafeoflife.com
Café of Life was created by world renowned chiropractor Arno Burnier in order to reframe Chiropractic in the public’s mind from a pain relief model to an overall wellness model. The big idea is to have a contemporary chiropractic practice in every community. It fulfills the vision that chiropractic began with and the one that lives in most Chiropractors’ hearts. Chiropractic is a health care system that holds that the structure of the body, particularly the spine, affects the function of every part of the body. Chiropractors take tension out of the body and make skeletal adjustments in order to get the body moving well and correct the body's alignment, which will relieve pain, improve function, and help the body heal itself.
Cafe of Life wants to change the perception of chiropractic in the eye of the general public. You see, chiropractic has been boxed in to a pain relief model. Yes, it is true...pain relief experienced by millions has made Chiropractic the largest drugless health profession in the world, but it has also positioned Chiropractic as a just another “treatment” for aches, pains, symptoms and conditions.
We believe that we are shortchanging ourselves by using chiropractic in such a limited way as just a pain relief tool. We know and experience chiropractic as so much more. How about You?
What about Restoring Health, Healing, and Well-Being?
